Non-profit status By notice dated 19 October 2026, the Munich tax office (Finanzamt München) determined under Section 60a of the German Fiscal Code (AO) that the articles of association of Schneckenhilfe e.V. (version of 8 May 2026 with amendment of 23 July 2026) meet the statutory requirements for non-profit status. The non-profit purpose is the promotion of animal welfare. The association is entitled to issue donation receipts for donations and membership fees. Donations and membership fees are tax-deductible within the limits of the statutory provisions.

Open to everyone
Everyone is warmly welcome with us, regardless of gender, origin, religion, belief, way of life, lifestyle, age or disability. Schneckenhilfe e.V. sees itself as a neutral place and an open association. We are united by one shared concern: animal welfare. We expressly distance ourselves from any form of extremism, hatred and discrimination.
